CARE Clinic—University of Washington
It is with great delight and enthusiasm that we are writing to inform you that the CARE Clinic (Clinical services, Assessment, Research, & professional Education) at the University of Washington, College of Education opened this month.
The clinic, under the direction of Dr. Julie Osterling, serves
individuals from infancy through adulthood who have
neurodevelopmental disorders (including autism spectrum, ADHD,
learning disability, and developmental delays) and their families.
The CARE Clinic is dedicated to increasing the capacity and excellence of
services provided to individuals and families affected by neuro-developmental
disorders through education, intervention, support, research and training.
This clinic is part of the UW College of Education Haring Center, which is
under the direction of Dr. Ilene Schwartz.
In addition to services provided by licensed psychologists, the new clinic
will provide intensive training to psychology, education, and other specialists
so that they can provide effective individual and family centered services.
