The Kitsap County Developmental Disabilities Resource Fair

The Division of Developmental Disabilities Region V-Kitsap, Kitsap County Developmental Disabilities, The Kitsap County Parent Coalition, the Arc of Kitsap/Jefferson Counties, and Kitsap County Early Intervention Services.
Dozens of agencies, programs and support groups will have tables set up for information gathering: early intervention, parks and recreation, community services, residential agencies, employment vendors, governmental support, respite, support groups, advocacy, transportation and more!

Kitsap County Parent Coalitions Meetings will not be held in:

• January and February.
  We are encouraging families to attend the DD Legislative Reception,
  Advocacy Days, DD Resource Fair, send emails and call Legislators during the session which ends March 9. DSHS has begun drafting the new WACs needed to implement the DD budget cuts (see page 7-Message from MaryAnne Lindeblad)).
•  It is very important that families contact legislators about the Governor’s proposed cuts to services. .
• Save the Date
  The first Kitsap County Parent Coalition meeting of 2012 will be held on March 27 at 7:00 p.m. at Communitas.
